1. Evaluate the software first.
Download and install the BadCopy Pro evaluation version on a Windows computer. Connect the removable media you want to recover.
2. Follow the recovery wizard.
Choose the appropriate media and recovery options in the software. Follow the wizard to scan for lost or corrupted files.
3. Check your results.
The evaluation version checks whether restoration is possible. Preview common image and text formats, or inspect the recovered data in HEX mode.
4. Save the recoverable files.
If the results are useful, purchase a full license and enter the registration key from your order confirmation email. Save the recovered data to a new folder; BadCopy Pro does not write to the original disk.
Recovery is not always possible. BadCopy Pro is primarily designed for removable storage and does not recover lost data from hard drives.
